IMPLEMENTASI TEORI TRIPLE HELIX SEBAGAI STRATEGI PENINGKATAN EKONOMI MASYARAKAT CIAMIS PADA SEKTOR WISATA SEJARAH DAN BUDAYA

Abstract
This study aims to determine the governance of economic improvement programs in the historical and cultural tourism sector which is managed by the Government of the Ciamis Regency in realizing the unit of vision achievement of the Regent of Ciamis, 2019-2024 the economy of prosperity independence for all. The research method used is a qualitative ethnographic approach with the stages of determining the research theme, determining the sources, in-depth interviews (in-depth interviews), analyzing, making research reports. The results of the study, the government of Ciamis Regency is serious about creating an economic ecosystem based on historical and cultural tourism. By establishing a Regional Tourism Promotion Board (BPPD) with its work procedures, it uses the triple helix theory, wherein its implementation, academics, the private sector, and the government play roles in accordance with their capacities and capabilities. So that there is a cycle of collaboration as a support for the development of the historical and cultural tourism economy.
